FORMATION OF A BUSINESS LEAGUE TO UNITE IN A COMMON ORGANIZATION FOR THE INTERCHANGE OF IDEAS AND INFORMATION RELATIVE TO THE PRODUCTION OF CRUSHED STONE, SAND AND GRAVEL IN THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA. TO PROVIDE AN INSTRUMENTATILTY IN WHICH MEMBERS MAY COORDINATE THEIR EFFORTS TO PROTECT, PROMOTE AND ADVANCE THE AGGREGATES INDUSTRY AND UNITE IN SOLVING COMMON INDUSTRY PROBLEMS. SERVICE MEMBER NEEDS THROUGH PROGRAMS IN LEGISLATIVE LIASON, ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, EDUCATION AND INTERACTION WITH MAJOR MARKET GROUPS, SUCH AS HIGHWAY ENGINEERS AND CONTRACTORS. TO ADVISE, COUNSEL AND ASSIST THE CONSUMER OF AGGREGATE PRODUCTS, AND TO FOSTER AN UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE AGGREGATES INDUSTRY AND TO ACQUAINT THE GENERAL PUBLIC WITH THE INDUSTRY AND ITS BENEFITS.
